Parent Involvement

Ideally parents attend lessons for young students. In some cases, guardians, grandparents, siblings, or caretakers fulfill that role. Together, we create a “Suzuki Triangle”

• Teacher has expertise in violin pedagogy and guides technique with step by step instructions.

• Parent/guardian helps with daily practice and cheerleading.

• Some parents choose to learn to play alongside the student. This helps the parent be a guide at home and is a fun way to use lesson time when the student needs a break!

• The time you spend together will be vital to musical progress and provide a creative outlet for a shared activity!
